Kevin:I wanted to tell you again how happy we are with our new 2005 F250 Lariat. It is even better than the one I configured. It was a pleasure to work with you over the phone and get it done!! It was so simple. I have had a selling marathons in the past, whenever we purchased a vehicle, and I assure you it was never enjoyable. I can't tell you how many vehicles we have purchased in our 44 years of married life. I can tell you this, however, it was quite a few. I'm not sure I will ever go into a dealership to buy a vehicle, ever again. The age of the computer is definitely here. I worked in the computer industury since the vacuum tube days, and purchasing a vehicle was never this easy. It is so simple to configure what you want and search the dealerships for the inventory, or at least the closest inventory. I have to tell you, we are happier with the Arizona Beige with the Black bottom than the White with Arizona beige bottom, which we configured. I mean, very happy! Your staff treated us in a very professional manner when we arrived, which by the way, is so important in handling your customers. Since our vehicle was not there in your inventory, it certainly was there by the time we arrived to make the purchase, since our travel time to your dealership was 2.5 hours. Every facet of the transaction was handled in an above-board manner and a high level of professionalism. I congratulate you and your staff. Troy Wilkerson and Jim Lee were extremely easy to work with. Please provide them with a copy of this E-mail. I am a "dyed in the wool" Ford man. I also am very much aware of the problems that Ford had when they released their 6.0 Litre Power Stroke Diesel. I drove one of their 7.3 Litre Powerstrokes for 10 years. I loved the truck. I use the internet extensively for research, and I waited until I felt comfortable before making this purchase. I feel like I stuck by Ford in their time of problems, and I feel very confident that they will stand by their product in the long run. Feel free to forward this message on to the Ford Motor Corporation. Again Kevin, thank you for a very pleasurable experience. You provide Ford Motor Company a very valuable service. Tremendous Buying Experience!
Dear Mr. Neronde, I would like you to know about the tremendous experience we had purchasing a car from your dealership. We tried to buy a car here in Reno, Carson City and in Roseville and no-one was really interested in selling us a car at a fair price. I called Bill Nunnally in December searching for a specific Expedition. He said that he didn't have one, however, he certainly did his homework and called us mid January saying that he had the car we wanted. We explained to Bill that we had decided to order through the Costco Program and Bill said that he would match their price. He and Steve Riley said that we could trade our Buick if we did not sell it before delivery of the Expedition. We basically completed the whole transaction over the phone with no pressure or haggling and after a few minor repairs the car was delivered to us in Nevada and our car was taken in trade. When we went to register the car in Reno, there was a problem with the paperwork which stated a cash down payment instead of a trade-in. (This was done anticipating that we would sell our old car prior to taking delivery of the Expedition, which did not happen). Your DMV specialtist Lisa took our call and worked with management revising the paperwork and faxing it to us in Reno within 30 minutes! This saved us about $400.00 in taxes.
